Marine salmon fishermen alerts lawsuit Print E-mail

 Directorate for Nature Management (DN) proposes to maintain -
Guidelines for sea salmon fishing in 2009, with the postponed start of the key way fisheries.
Already now alerts Norwegian basic and Ocean salmon fishing team
that they will go to trial against the state -
in what they believe is a fight the industry's existence.

Despite the major constraints in the neck axis fishing last summer,
catch numbers only went down by 12 percent.
While there in 2007 was taken 438 tonnes of salmon and sea trout in the lake salmon fishing,
were taken 388 tonnes this year.
The biggest is the decline of the salmon catch between 3 and 7 kg

Fisheries Service has sent out for consultation,
a report on the future management of the eel.
Working group that has made the report,
is divided into the question of whether -
needle should be protected temporarily in the sea for a minimum of 15 years,
or whether the withdrawal of the commercial fishing to be halved.
